My name is Afia and no my surname is not Nyarko-Minkah but my mother’s name, a woman who is very dear to my heart. I have recently left my corporate job after working in the corporate world for many many many MANY years and decided to put my feet all the way into (one of) my passion(s). I began taking photography seriously in 2016 and initially I would take pictures on my phone of innate objects in hotels or places of interest before then seeing if I could push my limit, purchasing a small Nikon camera and get people in front of my lens and have never looked back (I am a Canon babe now though, sorry Nikon!) I enjoy all aspects of photography, whether it is on location, or in the studio, as well as event photography, which also keeps me on my toes!! I am a published photographer and am known for my personable skills and making clients feel at ease during our photography session. I love making clients happy, laugh and most importantly feel beautiful with the results of my photography. When taking pictures at any event, I capture every happy and meaningful moment as these are treasured memories.

The best comment I have received via a recent client is;

“Is that me? These are truly beautiful.”

This is one lovely comment of many but because this was an impromptu branding shoot that I did with a client I am so so pleased they were in awe of the fantastic results.

Photography is a currently a heavily male dominated world and I am glad to be one of a few female photographers whose camera truly drives my passion to create beautiful moments, memories and the like for you, your family and your friends.
